MCX Goldm September contract slips

At 15:51 hrs MCX GOLDM July contract was trading at Rs 26864 down Rs 95, or 0.35 percent. The GOLDM rate touched an intraday high of Rs 27039 and an intraday low of Rs 26816. So far 29308 contracts have been traded. GOLDM prices have moved down Rs 3136, or 10.45 percent in the July series so far.

At 15:51 hrs MCX GOLDM August contract was trading at Rs 26810 down Rs 91, or 0.34 percent. The GOLDM rate touched an intraday high of Rs 26990 and an intraday low of Rs 26765. So far 12760 contracts have been traded. GOLDM prices have moved down Rs 540, or 1.97 percent in the August series so far.

At 15:50 hrs MCX GOLDM September contract was trading at Rs 26815 down Rs 141, or 0.52 percent. The GOLDM rate touched an intraday high of Rs 27179 and an intraday low of Rs 26782. So far 469 contracts have been traded. GOLDM prices have moved down Rs 909, or 3.28 percent in the September series so far.

MCX Silvermic June contract declines 1%

At 15:54 hrs MCX SILVERMIC June contract was trading at Rs 40925 down Rs 401, or 0.97 percent. The SILVERMIC rate touched an intraday high of Rs 41430 and an intraday low of Rs 40726. So far 66240 contracts have been traded. SILVERMIC prices have moved down Rs 24576, or 37.52 percent in the June series so far.

At 15:54 hrs MCX SILVERMIC August contract was trading at Rs 41450 down Rs 387, or 0.93 percent. The SILVERMIC rate touched an intraday high of Rs 41970 and an intraday low of Rs 41254. So far 14169 contracts have been traded. SILVERMIC prices have moved down Rs 15751, or 27.54 percent in the August series so far.

At 15:53 hrs MCX SILVERMIC November contract was trading at Rs 42410 down Rs 405, or 0.95 percent. The SILVERMIC rate touched an intraday high of Rs 42984 and an intraday low of Rs 42200. So far 1070 contracts have been traded. SILVERMIC prices have moved down Rs 3593, or 7.81 percent in the November series so far.

Natural gas extends losses on rising U.S. inventory levels

Natural gas price carried Thursday's losses into Friday after official data revealed the stockpiles in the U.S. rose more than expected last week.

The commodity hit a session low of USD3.767 and a high of USD3.904.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration said in its weekly report on Thursday that natural gas storage in the U.S. in the week ended June 14 rose by 91 billion cubic feet, above market expectations for an increase of 90 billion.
